Filter, Column, and Export. Why are they matter for stakeholders?

In SEVA’s CRM platform, reporting is a crucial task for stakeholders to track leads, monitor performance, and make informed decisions. However, the existing Filter and Export features were inefficient, and there was no way for users to customize visible data columns. To improve usability and efficiency, we revamped Filter and Export while introducing Manage Column—a new feature allowing users to personalize their data views.

❓ Problems

Before the revamp, generating reports was inefficient and frustrating process. Users struggled with limited filter options, rigid column displays, and an export process that took up more than 15 minutes for large datasets. These inefficiencies hindered productivity and delayed decision-making.

🎯 Objectives

The objective of this project was to enhance the CRM system’s usability by optimizing key features that impact reporting efficiency. We introduced the Manage Column feature to give users control over the data they see, ensuring more relevant and customized reporting. The Filter functionality was improved to help users quickly find the information they need, reducing time spent navigating large datasets. Additionally, the Export feature was revamped to generate well-structured reports efficiently, making data extraction faster and more useful for stakeholders.

⭐ Result

The improvements led to a significant boost in efficiency, reducing export time from 15 minutes to under 1 minute for 11,000+ data entries. The Manage Column feature allowed users to customize their data view, making reporting more flexible and tailored to their needs, ultimately enhancing stakeholder productivity.
